Tummy Time at our house.

Last night after we changed and fed the girls, we decided that they could use some tummy time. We put down some blankets and laid the girls down. Here is what they did.
Brenna cried and buried her face in the blanket.
Here she is crying more. She is not quite ready for tummy time.
Here is Barry showing them how it's done. "Like this girls...you put your arms by your chest and lift up your head."
Here is Chantrell trying out tummy time.
Ummmm...I don't think that she is ready yet either. It's just too much work. Brenna is on her back and she is much happier now.Chantrell is on her back too. Look at her stretch. Here are the two girls together. They don't quite know what to think of this.I love this picture of the two of them. This is my imaginary conversation between them. "Hi, who are you?" "I'm your sister." "We look like each other." "I know...we're twins." "Do you think we have our mommy and daddy wrapped around our fingers yet?" "Yup..it's just like we planned." "Life is good."
"Hey, did you just whack me in the head with your arm?" "OOPS...my bad. I don't have control over my limbs yet." "Well it hurt and now I have to cry." Waaaaahhhhhh. "Time for bed my darlings", said the mom.

I love the pictures of them looking at each other and their "conversation", do they spend a lot of time together yet? Chantrell is really looking big, they are thriving...you two are doing a great job. Can't wait to see you all again.

Ohhh Shelly, that is the cutest, most funniest posting ever! I love seeing the twins next to one another- they are so alike, yet different and Chantrell certinaley is bigger. I love how you commented on their reactions to tummy time-reminds me of just what Zoey did her first time too, cried while practically suffocating herself. Thats where I started giggling reading your post. Then, I got to your mock conversation between the girls and I was practically in hysterics laughing! How funny. You are totally thinking like a Mommy. So cute and silly. Take care. Love ya'll Jenn
