Updates on the girls.

We took the girls to the dr. yesterday to see about their thrush in their mouths. The doctor said that they have milk curds in their mouth but no thrush. We are so relieved that they are doing well. Chantrell now weighs 11 pounds 2 ounces!!! Brenna weighs 9 pounds 12 ounces!!! They are both growing so big. They each grew another inch or two. It amazes me how they can do all that on just formula milk. So today, Brenna has a red bottom from diarhea (probabley spelled it wrong). She has gone through about 20 diapers and I wash her bottom off in the sink with warm water. Chantrell is constipated and can't go poop. "The girls have butt problems," says Barry. We will probably take them back into the doctors if they don't get better by tomorrow.

Barry is job hunting everyday and he has to walk. His truck is still broken and he and Tony are trying to fix it. He got the new fuel pump and fuel filter but they don't want to go back in. They are afraid to push too hard because a piece might break off into the engine block and then we would be in big trouble. This week has been hard on us, especially me. I don't want to be here, in Reno, anymore. I miss my family and all the fun we had at the family reunion. I try to stay busy here with the girls, scrapbooking, blogging, and sewing Steven's stocking. Sometimes I don't know what to do with the twins. I put them in the swing, the bouncy chair that vibrates, on the floor for tummy time and lay them down in their cribs. What else should I be doing with almost 3 month old babies??? Suggestions please.

It's always hard, a real let down after visiting family and having to go home. The trip is anticipated and planned for a long time and then it's over. We're feeling it too. I'm sorry you're struggling with car problems and job problems and just he stress of two newborns...it's alot. They really get easier around 6-8 months, the are starting to become mobile...rolling, turning, pulling themselves along the floor and then sitting. They are so much happier when they can sit and play. You're doing everything you can do with three month olds, they might enjoy a mirror of some type and a trapeze toy that they lay under and look up at and even try to hit the toys. They may be ready for rattles or even those rattle wrists or rattle foot socks, and try some music, that always soothes babies and go for daily walks, that will help you to feel invigortated and refreshed and sometimes the babies even need a change of scenery, in fact Jesse, Regen and Devon--even that young were happier outside than in. Hope these suggestions help and I'm glad that they don't have thrush and hopefully their little bottom problems clear up soon. Regen still has really hard rocks and struggles with constipation, Devon never did but man did he have some horrible diaper rashes, simple cornstarch sprinkled on the bottom really helps. Keep your chin up, the girls are counting on you, we love you all.

Thank you Debbie. Your comments and suggestions are great. We did get the girls a trapeze toy that they lay under and hit the toys. That lasts for about 1 minute then they get bored and cry. I will get them some wrist rattles at Once Upon A Child. Barry and I have been doing a lot of walking and the girls do like their stroller. We took Brenna to the dr today and he wants some lab work done on her stool sample. Hopefully, it will not be anything serious. I will keep on trucking along...life is more complicated with babies but I know it is worth it. Things should be getting better soon. Thanks again for your support and love.

Debbie's suggestions were great. It has been 6 years for me without a little one. MOVE HERE! OK. I got my plug in. I know Barry has to wanna too. COME ON BARRY!!! Moving to new places wasn't too hard for us (and I'm sure Debbie too) because we had people we met right away in our ward. Church anyone? You never know. We love you and those cute girls.

Thank you too Erica. I am making progress with church. I need a car to get there though. Barry asks, what kind of job would he get there in Payson or the surrounding area? We think about moving all the time. But should we move back to Oregon to be closer to mom and dad and his mom and dad? Barry also has three kids who live in Eugene. He kind of wants to live there too. We will wait and see what happens here in Reno, job hunting and such. Love you guys!!!
