Oregon...Here We Come!!! Day 1 (6-27-08)

The twins, Barry and I rode in Tony's car to the airport. It was the girls first time flying on a plane. They were 7 weeks old. They both did so well and didn't even cry. In the airport, so many people came by to comment on how cute the babies are. They always ask the same questions...how old are they, are they identical twins, are they both girls??? Then some people who have had twins have to tell us their story about their kids. I can't believe how much attention the twins bring us. I took a few pics of the girls in their carseats. We were so excited to be on our way to Oregon. A fun filled 14 day vacation awaited us.Chantrell in her carseat heading to the airport.Brenna is sitting next to her sister. Her pacifier is green and is by her mouth. We don't travel without it.The girls are in the airport hanging out until we board the plane. The plane ride was about an hour and fifteen minutes long. Portland was so sunny and beautiful when we got there. We met Dad and Jazmine and Ryan there too. We had a fun talkative ride home catching up on all the gossip.

Did the babies get their own seats on the plane? I can't believe people ask if they are girls. Look at the pink people! Daniel says, "How was your flight? Did you have a great time when you were flying?"

I love the new updated look, how's Barrys Dad doin? I bet it was fun showing them the girls. It was so good to see you all again, and I can't believe how well the babies are doing. Wish we could've stayed for the blessing, but Ash couldn't miss Monday at her job.

Yes, the babies had their own seats by the window. They stayed in their carseats the whole trip. I think that people are teasing us when they ask if they are girls. Of course they can't miss all the pink. Our flight was good and short. It wasn't too bad flying but the girls are heavy to carry around in their carseats through the airport. Barry's dad is doing great after his back surgery. It is like he never had surgery at all. He has a lot of relief down his leg, knee, and foot.
