Why Barry didn't want to move here...pics below.

Yes, I'm a month behind in posting pics again. The twins and my other duties around the house take up so much time. By the time I want to post on the blog, Barry is playing on the computer or watching old TV episodes on the computer, that stinker. So today I talked him into being me for the day and watching all the kids and doing my chores so I can get caught up on pics. Let's see, we have been to the beach, to Eugene to visit with the girl's other grandparents and Barry's family, Halloween activities, and the girls have turned 6 months old too. I have pics of them with their big bear. They are so cute and can do more things now. Like holding their own bottles to drink, rolling all around the floor, trying to get up on their hands and knees, laughing out loud at funny things, and sleeping through the night (mostly Brenna...Chantrell gets up after 4 or 5 hours and crys for baba and a clean diaper). Here are the pictures. Enjoy!!
OOPS!! These are not the "enjoy" pictures I was talking about. These are from a month ago. Mom always asks what I am doing in the kitchen for hours in the morning instead of helping her. I tell her about Tiffany and all her messes around the house. She acts like only she and her kids live here and she can leave it a big mess and clean it later. However, later never comes and Barry and I end up cleaning after her. She is not setting a good example for her kids. It is very frustrating to wake up each day to a big mess. We don't want to leave it for grandpa to see. He spends all week at work and doesn't need to clean up after anyone. OH WELL!! Barry told me before we moved here that I would be the babysitter and maid for everyone. Maybe Tiffy and Adam and the kids will move out next year. We can only hope. I think that we will be ready to move out when the twins turn one and can go to daycare. I'm ready to teach again and make some money.A sink full of dishes to wash every morning. Barry and I clean the kitchen at night and when we wake up, here is what waits for us.This is looking into her disgusting room that she, Adam, and the boys all share. If Tiffy knew that these pics were on my blog she would be pretty mad at me. But, I don't think that she really cares who looks at her room or else she would clean it up.The giant tower of clean clothes to put away. She never goes through any of the clothes to see what fits the kids anymore. She is a packrat like mom and dad. Barry won't let me live like this. He is the total opposite and is a clean freak. I like it better than tripping all over things and having to make a pathway on the floor just to get to the bed.The tower of broken plastic drawers full of junk that the kids go through. She has enough socks without partners to fill two drawers. I can never find two matching socks when I help dress the boys in the morning. That is my biggest pet peeve.

Her disgusting and smelly bathroom. There is cat poo in there from I don't know how long ago. Every surface has junk on it and the kids smear toothpaste all of the counter and the mirror on a daily basis. Another view of the bathroom. Don't worry, this is not the guest bathroom. Only she uses this bathroom. Even the kids don't like to use this bathroom. They say it stinks and is too dirty to take a bath in. You would think that she would get the hint to clean it up once in awhile. This is messy Rhiannon's room, A.K.A., mom's computer room. Poor mom gets so frustrated that she can't get into her room to print things on the computer or look for books that she wants to read. Nan has learned from her mom how to live like a piggy.Another view of where Nan sleeps. She says that she has lots of fun in there playing toys, listening to her radio, reading books, and playing on the computer. She has her friends come over to spend the night and she doesn't even care about how messy her room is.This is how the laundry room looks on a daily basis. Usually the stack of clean clothes is higher and the washer and dryer are always full of her clothes. Barry and I have to wait in line to get our two loads of laundry done each week. Tiffany is drowning in clean and dirty clothes. She just can't get a handle on how to stay ahead of all the messes. Anyone have any good ideas or suggestions for her?? We have talked to her until we are blue in the face. I think that we have given up and just deal with the mess.

Photos from September...end of summer.

Barry is carrying around Brenna in her baby carrier on the beach. I think this was taken back in September when the weather was nice and warm. Mom, Barry, the babies, Nan and Ryder and I all went to the beach together.
Me holding Chantrell enjoying the fresh air and ocean waves.
Rhiannon is building a sand castle along with her brother Ryder.
Nan and Ryder.
Cool ocean waves.
At night, the girls sit in their little chairs and watch the Baby Einstein Video, My First Signs. It teaches them how to sign words like eat, drink, mommy, daddy, etc... there is classical music and puppets. I love the video and the girls watch it almost every night. It is so cute to see them taking everything in.Here is Racer next to Brenna. He loves his cousins and wants to be right next to them all the time.
Racer next to Chantrell. My twinsy girls are getting so big now. They are growing out of their clothes so fast. Brenna is enjoying tummy time. I love her cute chubby cheeks and her red hair. She has finally learned how to roll over from her back to her tummy like Chantrell can do. It took Brenna about 3 extra weeks to learn how. I have to be careful not to compare them all the time. Each girl is her own unique person and I love them unconditionally.Chantrell on her tummy. Look at her bright blue eyes and brown hair. Barry says that she has "Angelina Jolie lips". She is a very pretty baby.Ryder's new bike. He really needed his own bike and grandma bowman got him one. I went to Fred Meyer's and picked it out for him. Ryder loves it when I bring his bike to the bus stop when I pick him up at 11:15 after his am kindergarten. He rides it up and down the hill by our house.Ryder going up the hill where the mailboxes are.He is ready to ride his bike down the hill after we picked up the mail. He goes super fast. Kids have no fear of speeding down the hill and crashing. He can do tricks on his bike, like riding with no hands and then sometimes he puts his feet up on the handle bars. Barry and I babysit the kids after school. This day we took them to Seaside to eat Elephant Ears and just look around all the shops. Here is Rhiannon in her new school outfit. And Ryder climbing on the wall.Looking South at Tillamook Head and the beach. Not that many people on the beach. It's getting colder and you have to bundle up.At the turn around looking North. Ryder and Nan at the famous Lewis and Clark statue. I love the pretty bushes and flowers all around.Me and Barry.A cool painting on the side of one of the buildings. It shows a quilt hanging on a clothesline at the beach and in the squares are all the things that you can do at Seaside. I thought it was a pretty painting.Back at home Brenna is taking a nap with her baba. This is a typical sight everyday. The babies drink their bottles propped up by a blanket in their swings. It got quiet under the trapeez toy...I think Chantrell is sleeping. She looked so cute under there I had to get a picture of her.Ohhhhhh...she is just precious. Mom and Dad's house has lots of windows in the living room and it gets hot in there, like a sunroom. The girls play in there most of the day. It's pretty comfy for them.

The girls are 5 months old and a trip to the beach.

Well, I have been very busy since my last post. I have gotten behind in posting pictures and mom keeps bugging me to get back on track. She says it is almost impossible to catch up when you get too far behind. I know what she means now. I need to post pics and video clips from the last 3 or 4 weeks. We have been to the beach a few times, a trip to Portland for mom's doctor visit, lots of baby pictures of them eating, rolling around and acting cute, and some more pictures of the house and all the crazy things that go on around here. I will post the girls 5 month old pics first and then I will go back and post some of the older activities. Mostly my pics are the same as mom's because we go to the same places, but I do have some different videos. You are probably wondering what I am so busy doing each day...I take care of the twins, and help mom, and clean the house, do dishes, laundry, babysit Tiffy's kids after school and sometimes the neighborhood kids too, sew Steven's stocking (when I get a few minutes each day) and the list goes on and on. Things that I need to make time for are blogging and working on the girls baby books so I don't forget all the cute things that they can do now. Oh Yeah...I have a miserable cold and bronchitis again. Barry is sick too and even the babies have had runny noses and red watery eyes. Nothing is as sad as a sick crying baby, except maybe two sick crying babies. They are feeling better and dad got me a Zpack, medicine that usually helps me get better faster. OK, on with the photo show!!Chantrell and Brenna with their teddy bear. They have both grown another inch since last month and we think they weigh about 16 pounds. At their next doctor's visit we will get an accurate height and weight. I love the girls in jeans and t-shirts. They look so adorable. The girls wear 6 month old clothes now. They have grown out of 3-6 month old clothes and they can even fit in some 6-9 month old clothes. Theses outfits are a little big for them but it's better than the too tight clothes that I have put away for the next person who has a girl baby.Brenna is looking pretty serious in most of the pics. She can laugh and smile at us. Chantrell usually has a big grin on her face when she sees me or her daddy. I have a really cute video of the girls laughing at their cousin Rhiannon dancing and singing. I will post it soon."Time for a drink after my photo shoot...that was hard work looking so cute.""I'm all done with my baba...I'm going to play with this toy.""Look at me mom...I found my feet!!""Look over here mom...I can hold my ducky toy!!""Yes, Brenna and Chantrell. I see you both. Good girls!!" I tried to load some video clips from the camera of them on the bed playing and it would not work!! So frustrating!! However, I did get one of the girls on the beach. I wonder if my videos need to be under one minute for them to load and work? Anyway, on Monday, the kids had the day off from school and I babysat Racer. Rhiannon and Ryder went to their friends house for the day. They were invited to go to the beach and Racer cried because he couldn't go with them. So, Aunt Shelly to the rescue. We had fun all by ourselves.
Hi, cute little Racer!! I love your spikey hair!! I take care of him like he is my own little boy. He loved digging in the sand and burying his tractor. He will be four in November. It was a little cold and windy so I bundled up the girls with blankies and babas.Looking towards Tillamook Head and the lighthouse. It was sunny and just beautiful for late September weather.RacerBrenna in a blue sundress on the pink blanket and Chantrell in a pink sundress on the purple blanket. They both had sand all over them so we had bathtime after the beach.Brenna and Chantrell.Racer again. Digging and throwing sand dangerously close to the babies. He wanted to play right by my feet. This is our attempt at decorating for fall. Racer was my little sidekick for the day. We found some interesting looking squash at the store. The kids wanted to eat the candy that was on display for the picture.Close up of the pumpkins, squash and candy.

"Aunt Shelly...Can I please have a piece of candy???" "Oh Racer, of course you can."

More posts to come. As long as Barry helps me watch the babies.
