The girls turned 3 months on the 3rd of August.

One of the weekends in July we went for a walk. We walked all the way to the Truckee River which runs right through Reno. We must have walked for about 5 miles that day. When the girls got hungry, we stopped at a shady spot and fed them their bottles. This is looking west towards downtown Reno.
You can see some tall buildings in the background. Those are of the casinos and hotels. I didn't know how pretty the river would be. It is clear and cool on a hot summer day.
Barry and the babies posing on the bridge.
Here are some kids enjoying the cool water.
I took pictures of Brenna in just her pampers. I already have pictures of Chantrell in pampers. I wanted to be fair and have some cute pics of Brenna.
I love how chubby she is getting.

August 3rd, the girls turned 3 months old. They are dressed in twinsy outfits lying on our bed. First is Brenna.
I added the teddy bear that they got when they were born. I will take pictures of them with the bear again each month and then hopefully you will be able to see their growth. It's kind of funny how I made the teddy bear hold Brenna. This picture shows the back of her head with some red hair growing in. Chantrell's turn for her 3 month old photo shoot.Teddy and Chantrell just hanging out.Chantrell is probably wondering who is holding her.
Here is the back of Chantrell's head showing her brown hair.Daddy and his girls.Barry was playing with Brenna and making her clap her hands.Look how tiny her hand is compared to Barry's hand. I love this photo. More playing pictures.Chantrell was playing on the floor while Barry was playing with Brenna. Sorry the picture is turned sideways. Chantrell has a red dot under her left arm. It is growing a little bit. The doctor said it will grow bigger and then disappear when she gets older. What a pretty smile she has. Both of the girls together. Brenna left, Chantrell right.Cute sisters together. This is Chantrell in the bouncy swing for the first time. She did OK in it for awhile. The picture below is of her in the doorway but looking out. I took a video of her in the swing bouncing (with my help).

A different day, Chantrell is enjoying the swing in the doorway getting some fresh air. She is wearing her "I love daddy" shirt. Brenna is outside enjoying some fresh air too. She looks good in blue overalls and the blue bouncy chair. What a beautiful baby!! Both of my girls are beautiful. I just like this picture a lot. This is a toy from "Once Upon A Child" store. It plays music and the girls can press the keys to make the animal sounds too. Here is Chantrell pretending to play the piano."Mom, I don't even know how to play this!" Looking down over her shoulder. Her hair is growing. Yeah!!Brenna's turn on the piano. She thinks that she is one year old. See her one finger sticking up.Top of Brenna's head. Not much hair yet."Mmmmmm . . . my hand tastes yummy." Monday, Aug. 11th at night Brenna laughed for the first time. It was so cute that I couldn't stop laughing. She did it a couple more times and both Barry and I kept trying to make her laugh again. I will try to get a video clip of it and post it on the blog. Chantrell is really close to laughing too. She opens her mouth and gets a huge smile but no sound comes out.

We are moving to Oregon . . . again.

Our family is going back to Oregon to live with my mom and dad. We never really made it here in Reno, NV. I taught for a little bit and then took time off for the pregnancy and birth of the twins. Barry has worked a little here and there but nothing full-time in construction. His truck only fits three people and we are a family of four now. I need to get another vehicle when I start working again. I hope that Barry and I will be less of a burden and more of a help to mom and dad around their house. I'm homesick and can't wait to live with them. It will be nice to see Tiffany and her kids too. Barry has three kids, his parents and siblings who all live in Eugene. It will be nice for the grandparents to see the grandbabies more often than once a year. I will fly with the babies on August 23 and Barry will drive the U-Haul truck over the weekend. That's about all the news for now. I have some 3 month pictures of the girls to put on the blog soon.

More pics of the babies in July.

When we got home from the vacation, Barry thought the girls should try some baby food. They loved it. However, after a few more days we found out that their little digestive system was not ready. They both had potty problems. We are going to try rice cereal when they are four months. Barry is feeding Chantrell her baba.
Here he is feeding her sweet potatoes.
Notice he didn't use a bib. Typical dad. Not caring about the outfit getting stained. Good thing they have lots of cute clothes from family members.
She really enjoyed slurping up the yummy food on a spoon.
Here is the new toy that we bought for the girls. The trapeze plays music and the little blue bird moves back and forth. The girls can swing their arms and bat at the toys that dangle down. This is Brenna playing under it.
Brenna above and Chantrell below. My turn to feed Brenna some sweet potatoes. Notice the bib . . . (he he he).Yummy!!Nice picture of me. Oh yah and Brenna too.
Brenna with her empty baba. There's nothing like a sleeping baby. Ahhhhhh!!Chantrell is enjoying her baba too. This is when Barry's truck went kaput. He was trying to replace the fuel pump and fuel filter. He spent three days working on it before we decided to get professional help. It's a " Dirty Job." Like in the t.v. show.Even Tony tried to help Barry but the two of them were no match for the truck. It is now running great after taking it to a Shell station for repair.
Barry in orange and Tony in the red shirt. How many car repair pictures did I take??A wide awake Chantrell (all in purple) with her "spoiled" pacifier in. She is supposed to be taking a nap.Chantrell minus the pacifier.A sleeping Brenna (all in pink). Look at her red hair. Brenna is below in her green jammies. She wasn't very happy but I take the pictures anyway.
Getting Chantrell ready for night night. First, change the diaper . . .then dress her in her nightgown. So cute. She has her photo shoot below. There are some really great pictures of her smiling.
I wanted the babies to experience the outside for a little bit. I had Barry bring Chantrell outside in her swing. I put her under one of the trees in our backyard for some shade. There is no grass back there. Our landlord may or may not put some there this year.Picture of the tree.Close up of Chantrell.
Here is Brenna in her "sitting" pose. Barry loves to torture the girls. Just joking.Close up of Brenna. The girls are enjoying, not really, their trapeze toy. Chantrell is on the left and Brenna is on the right.Let's try a different arrangement.
