Update on the twins!!!

Today Barry and I went to my ultrasound appt. We found out that we are having identical twin girls!!! Can you believe it??!! I am super excited because I wanted little girls to play dress up with. Barry is happy that they are both the same sex so they can share a room and stuff. The girl's names are going to be Brenna Chanel Lee and Chantrell Meagan Lee. I am about 20 weeks along and think that my due date will be June 7. I don't know why they think that my due date should be July 4th. Twins usually come early so I will be ready by the end of May. Anyone who wants to send used baby clothes or items my way, let me know. I can use two of everything. I'm feeling pretty good and starting to show a little more. I will post some pictures of my belly when I buy some new maternity clothes for my b-day. Hope everyone is doing good and remember to update your blogs!!!

Cute little identical twins!!! You can dress them alike like little dolls. It will be twice the fun. Everyone will stop and exclaim over them in the grocery store. We are so excited and happy for you. Love, Mom

How do they know they're identical? Doesn't that mean they would have had to come from the same egg? and didn't they implant multiple eggs? Did they do the 4-D ultrasound? Just curious. I can't believe you're going to have two little girls. We have a family in our ward with identical twin girls. She always has them dressed alike, their hair combed the same...so cute. But man, do they have different personalities, one is so strong willed and the other so mild. It's really cute to watch them together. Do you have the "What to expect when you're expecting" book? Aubrey works at Borders and they have some of the neatest books for parents expecting. I love the names Brenna and Chantrel, I think the sp is right? So cute, good for you both. We will start getting a box ready with Regens clothes that she has outgrown. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!

I HAVE tons of clothes and shoes to send you..I mean TONS!! Oh man twin girls that will be so fun.

That is kinda weird identical. Cause identical means one egg split into two. SO that means out of all the stuff they implanted only one took and that one happened to split. OOOOHH

Thanks for the comments and good wishes. I appreciate it. The way I got pregnant was not by having implanting eggs. I only had a sperm injection, and the egg/or eggs were already in me (mine). So, when they introduced the sperm, one found one of my eggs and it must have split into two to make the twin girls. The doctor knows that they are identical because there is only one placenta with a small membrane separating the babies. One of the girls weighs 13 oz and the other weighs 10 oz. One twin is a little bigger in size than the other. So, they will monitor the babies growth to make sure both are healthy in size and weight. I do have the book, "What to expect when you are expecting" and I write in it often. I am so lucky to have great family members who are willing to help me with baby clothes and shoes. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! I have some baby clothes already from Jenn and I have the clothes on baby hangers. That way I know what size the outfit is by the color hanger it is on. Ashley if you are going to have more kids, I will send you back all my girls clothes when they outgrow them. Or to whomever is having the next baby. Maybe Aubrey?
